CUT Flowers

Created the CUT FLOWER project for an exhibition at Pink Tardis Gallery, a former flower shop (a tiny glazed TARDIS-shaped box inspired by Doctor Who) repurposed as a community space in a shopping mall before its closure.

The work celebrates Dagenham’s local florists, highlighting the pressures they face as large supermarkets and online retailers offer greater convenience and lower prices.

Using images captured from local flower displays, the project reflects both the labour behind these businesses and their fragility.
